Hi everyone,
I'm trying to track down information on a blank I bought quite a while ago but I can't seem to find any info on it now. I believe its a Dan Craft sig V 11' 8" two handed rod and I have memories of it being a light spey. Its a four pc blank but I can't find anything about it. I'm in the process of rebuilding the handle and I'd like to know the grain window that it can handle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ches Re: Dan Craft blank

There was more than one blank that length, if I remember right. Re: Dan Craft blank

Thanks Spencer. I seem to remember that it was based on the sig v 9’ 5wt which I had built. This is another section longer. I don’t really live in an area known for Spey fishing so the idea was a lighter rod that I could used for smallies and such but teach myself Spey casting techniques. I also have memories of it being 5-7wt. I think this would have been around 2007 ish. Oh well. If nothing turns up then I’ll borrow some lines and see which one works best for me. It’s very similar to switch rods now.
Cheers Ches Re: Dan Craft blank

A swith rod is just a short spey rod. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
