Hi,
I have somebody interested in a 6' or 6'6" fly rod in a 3 or 4 weight. I found a 6'6" fiberglass blank on the Angler's Roost site and I'm curious if anyone has any experience with this blank or could recommend others in a similar length/weight. Thanks, -Chris Re: 6' Fly Blank Recommendation

Check before ordering from anglers roost seeing that Johnny the owner passed away. I would go with anglers workshop’s blank. CS673 This is a 6’7” 3 wt. anglers workshop is absolutely a great company to deal with. Re: 6' Fly Blank Recommendation

I'm with Wes, the Chalk Stream blanks make great rods, the 6' 1" is also a fun 1 piece choice. Re: 6' Fly Blank Recommendation

Ahhh.......Angler's Roost did have a note on its site saying it wasn't taking orders for a while -thanks for the explanation. I'll head over to Angler's Workshop and look at your recommendation. Thanks again.

A 6' fly rod is getting down into the tenkara range. Have you ever fished with one? They are a hoot. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
