I wasn't or didn't mean bearings that were inferior, just asking or inquiring if anyone has purchased this upgrade? Do you make what I'm asking for the completed stand ? I'm confused about the comment 'my bearings" ? Re: Power Wrapper Plastic Rod Stand w/ Rollers

I think the name you are looking for is Al Engling. Have not used his stuff but have heard they are very nice. I believe you can contact him via Facebook.

What power wrapper do you have?
Al engling sells stands for the cpw, pac bay, am tac bases. He also sells a thread carriage for those. I sell stands on the renzetti/clemens/crb/rbs (mud hole bases). I also do replacement bearing rollers on the clemens wrappers. I have also designed mine so it is easy to source orings of various colors and sizes etc from the oring-store. Ok, Jeremy Reed is another name to add to my contact list. I might contact you about another stand for my Renzetti wrapper.

Al also has a tall handwrapper that is not meant to be used under power on the bases he does. I’m creating an adapter for it with him so it can also me used on the renzetti. I have it designed and printed but need to make some changes before it is final. I believe doc ski had input on the design. Re: Power Wrapper Plastic Rod Stand w/ Rollers

You say you make roller stands for the crb system? I burned through a V stand felt and melted a bit of the stand before i noticed.. Ive been contemplating figuring out how to attach rollers to the stands.... Re: Power Wrapper Plastic Rod Stand w/ Rollers

Good move on the ones from Al. I got a set for a specialty lathe I'm building. Bonus points if you can figure out the lathes purpose.

Murray,
Are you by chance building a pool cue lathe? Re: Power Wrapper Plastic Rod Stand w/ Rollers

No, It used to be the headstock off a cue lathe. Not really a lathe but a indexing fixture for cutting points. Now it is going to be a indexing fixture for laying out butt wraps, guide placement for spiral wraps or whatever else I may need to index accurately.
