I just want to put a shout out to this forum . I recently built a casting rod on a Bushido CB78-2/6-12 . I put micro
Fuji guides on it spiral wrapped and a winn dry split grip. I fished it last weekend and it performed flawlessly
for striped bass. Every one of my friends has complimented me on how it came out. Great blanks BTW.
Being only my second build it came out really nice and I would not have been able to do it without the great
source of information Rodmaker magazine and Tom's board here has provided,be it static testing, forhan locking wraps
,how to pick blanks, and how to properly work with rod finishes and thread wraps. So thank you Tom,and to all
of you who have helped me,either by directly responding to my questions,or just from what I have gleaned in
your posts. I'm hooked!

I've been building rods for over 30 years and I still check this website every morning! What would we do without it!!
