Lamiglas has made some for decades that among other things they built their heaviest Kenai series salmon rods on, the GLB 90 2M 7 1/2 ft. 30 lb. line class and GLB 108 2MH 9 ft. 30 lb. line class. The 7 1/2 ft. blank was used both as a heavy back bouncer and a salmon jigging spoon rod. There were two lighter lined blanks rated 10 to 17 lb. line 8 1/2 and 9 ft. long.
Looks like they don't sell the 2 pc. live bait blanks any longer. With the way things are going maybe they'll bring them back. Haven't heard about the new longer bass rods are thsy also going to be 2 pc? I may have two 8 1/2 ft. Roque XHvy, XF tipped hot shot blanks left that may make a decent live bait rod. Rated 1/2 to 6 oz. lure weight 15-30 lb. line. Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 11/18/2018 10:52AM by Spencer Phipps. Re: 2 pc live bait blank

RodGeeks also makes some 2pc blanks. Check with Billy Vivona for his recommendations.
What specifically are you fishing for? What sized baits are you throwing? Just a few questions asked to help narrow things down. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/19/2018 07:39AM by Chuck McIntyre. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
