Hi Guys,
I am looking for feedback on the Boomerang fishing rod retrieval devices? [www.getbitoutdoors.com] Has anyone used any of there or have experience with them? I have a customer that's asking about them Re: boomerang-fishing-rod-retrieval-devices

They demo'd these at the Expo a couple years ago. They work as advertised. Being on the butt of the rod they're not obtrusive nor in the way. They do add a bit more weight. You have to prioritize what is more important in the type fishing you're doing - absolute lightest weight, or being able to recover an expensive rod in a situation where you are at least somewhat likely to lose it.
Do remember that because the slight additional weight is at the butt end of the rod, you don't pay quite the same penalty you would if it was up above the handle. .............. Re: boomerang-fishing-rod-retrieval-devices

Great product... I have used them a bunch... They have improved on the original design and they are amazing... they also have one now for action camera's.
I have heard there may be some available at the 2018 expo. _______________________________ God Bless, Don Morse 800-516-1750 ext. 1207 / don@americantackle.us Rod Building..... It's What We Do. Re: boomerang-fishing-rod-retrieval-devices
