Bait Cast vs. Spinning Rods

Hey folks,
I've only ever built bait cast rods for light to med saltwater fishing. But I have people that want to buy spinning rods. My question is are any technical differences, aside from the reel seat and guide sizes, to keep in mind when building a spinning rod?

BTW, I'm very aware of line slap issues, so I would have to take that into account when mounting the 1st guide closest to the reel.

seat placement you should have the customer there and tape the guides on and the seat on and let them hold the rod and ask them if it feels right to them and try moving the seat forward or back to where they feel comfortable with the balance of the rod.
some like long rear grip and some short rear grip most use a nub for a fore grip unless it is for a heavy rod for big big fish then a 4-5 inch fore grip is used.
you can change the action/ power of the rod by placing the spine of the blank on top or bottom.
these are my things I do with my customers and they are more than satisfied with the end result and enjoy using the rod

Lots of great articles in the library here that will help you, unless you do something out of the ordinary line slap is pretty hard to produce in a rod.

I am fishing just with long spinning rods(over 10 ') building by me and i think with spinning rod you can fish with tinny line and you can cast longer distance with light lure.
From the bank fishing with one spinning telescopic rod, built by me one italian 16'4"graphite pole i was catching, after 20 minutes fight at ROLLOVER PASS,BOLIVAR PENINSULA ,TEXAS ,on jig one 40 inch ,23 lb. red fish(C&R) using FIRELINE ORIGINAL SMOKE 4lb.+14 lb.fluorocarbon leader.
