How far from the butt end of the rod to the front of the spool and what is the diameter of your reel? I am guessing about 15"- 16" and a diameter of about 2.25", respectively. Might want to try a more rapid choke like that used for a KR setup. Since you are using braid it should work fine. If you setup your reel seat down locking it will move your reel back an inch or two giving you more distance in front of your reel.

Looks like the overall length of the reduction train is about 29 inches, which sounds about right. GPS generates position for every guide. You choose the train you want. The 30L, 16 and 10 are not showing...don't know why you took those out. The graphic chart readout in the software is very helpful, pick three that make a nice even train.

Norm I'll have to measure and get back to you.

Jim I only included the ones whose spacing made the most sense. The software provided placement for them all, but including the others would be too crowded.

Pick three that space properly. All positions are provided so you can work out the group you want based on spool size and line type.

I've decided to bite the bullet and just buy every guide in the train down to 8 except the 30L. That way I can have them available to me to place the guides with a straight edge. If, depending on return shipping cost, it's worth returning the unused ones, I will just send them back for refund.

If anyone is interested, I can report back with the train I use.
