Rod Building Supply Stores & Shows

I live in East Texas. What suppliers and shows are closest. I need to see things in person and not just videos and catalogs. I'm in Big D more often than other cities, but haven't found anything on-line advertising. This is a cool website. I'm just getting cranked up after 40+ years since building my last rod. Thanks in advance.

The number of rod component suppliers across the nation is fairly limited, so unless you can find what you need at a sporting goods store with some amount of componentry, you'll most likely have to do what everybody else does - order online.

Try Lance Dupre .. Email me and I'll send you his contact info. He is no longer a sponsor here and I don't want to upset anyone who is.

Joe

There is a great rod building retailer in Dallas, they aren't supporters of this page so I can't mention them by name, but with a little web search you should find them.

There is a great local chain of stores in the Houston area that really have one of the best rod building displays that I have seen. I can't mention the name here, but the store on the Gulf Freeway in particular is real nice.

Also, we are located just west of Austin.
