Good morning to you all.
Now that the new Eternity's by Batson have been out for a while I would like to know if anyone out there has any feedback on the ETEC72MH-SS. I built the lighter sister to this blank this summer and it is one of the best that I have. I am looking at the MH model as I built another rod this summer that turned out to be a miserable disappointment for its intended purpose. No, I won't bash the product that didn't work as there is no reason for that. This blank appears to have the specs that I am looking for but if there are people with first hand experience, I sure would appreciate hearing what your opinions are of this one. I only ask for real work experience as my wife's tolerance for my experimental builds seems to be waning. Thanks for your time and feedback, have a wonderful holiday season. The new slate eternity isn't as fast and it doesn't have as much power as the blue series. I would say that it closer resembles a point blank, with more sensitivity and lighter weight. The blue series is a better jig rod, the new rod is a better worm rod. Simply put
