Thanks Tom. Will certainly give it a try. Like most others, I thought that the tape method might not be as good as epoxy for securing the grip to the blank, but have not yet needed to remove a Winn grip. I agree that removal may be easier using the tape. Also I like the idea of seeing for myself how well the tape method works . I imagine that the tape method may also be a viable alternative to secure Eva grips. Maybe some of the sponsors that sell Winn grips might start selling the double sided tape.

I guess I will be running around to some golf shops and hardware stores to see what they have..

Golf stores sell a non-volatile liquid to coat the tape before sliding the grip in place. If you are worried about how strong the bond will be, think about the torque golf grips withstand. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
