Billy it should take that long to set up although it is not a fast setting finish. A couple of things will effect the set up time. If the room is under 70 degrees it will take longer. Improper mix will do the same.
I would mix another batch and leave in the cup. Be absolutely certain that the mix is exact, stir for at least three minutes and keep in a well heated room. The epoxy should come out cured in about 12 hours.
