need photo of trolling rod under load.........

Does anyone have a photo they can post of a trolling rod, guides on top, under load that shows the tip and some of the guides near the tip starting to twist and torque due to downward pressure? Looking for this photo to put next to a spiral wrap photo to make a point.

Thanks
Buzz

Cabela's used to have a photo of their Whuppin' Sticks showing exactly that, they still may be using it.

Buzz,
Out of curiosity, do you have any light action casting rods where you could duplicate the condition that you are asking about?

no Roger I don't. All of my casting and trolling rods in the shop are spiral wrapped................ Spencer I searched Cabelas and found that model in a spin rod but not in a trolling rod under load.
The search continues............

Buzz,
I have a light action downrigger rod in a commercial conventional wrap. I will put a reel on it and simulate your wish and see what happens.

Be safe
