I have a couple of aluminum Reddington rod tubes that I would like to repurpose. They are painted with a powder coated green with the Reddington logo. I would like to repaint. Does anybody have a suggestion for what to paint with? The tubes are too long to heat. Re: Paint rod tube??

Have not painted rod tubes before, but I think an automotive paint like duplicolor would work. Prime first then coat with your color of choice. Auto paints come in any color you would want and are made for metal.

Bill,
Take the tubes to a power coating facility where they powder coat machines. No issue to powder coat the tubes. Be safe Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
