MHX DR845 or Batson RDR70M for walleye inline boards and trolling DDcranks

Hello fellas, I need some input on 7' Blanks for walleye inline-boards, That won't break the bank. Were running Offshore's and Church boards with deep diver flicker minnows Rap's etc, Sometimes with snap weights with spinners, sometime with just deep diving plugs . I have been using some 8'6"- 9' big salmon downrigger rods from my buddy but they're just too darn long in my small boat. I did do a search and think it confused me more, LOL. Your thoughts on MHX DR845, Rainshadow RDR70m, Rainshadow SPG844 - SPG845, Rainshadow SP843 - SP844. I have been leaning toward the DR845 or the RDR70M? Will they do the job or to light? They will be paired up with Okuma 20 DLXT line counter reels. Thanks for your help and opinions. Jaa

Thanks John, Yes we have the med size walleye boards, and 2 of tx22's. The rods we have work good they're just too darn long for the boat we using. Sooo we talked last night rethinking this and and instead of spending the time and $$$ on blanks and components, Were going to run up to bass-pro and have a look at some cheap rods that will do the job, We don't run these all year, Maybe about 4-5 weeks until the walleye transition to their summer hangouts in the shipping channel, Then were jiggin the channel right thru fall. I don't mind spending $$ on a rods that I'm holding in my {hand} But I have a hard time with one's that sit in rod holders pulling planer boards in this short transition period. Thanks a bunch! Jaa
