Bill B.: I also use a compass to determine guide width - a compass with two needles for pointers. Do you use your compass to scale down the width of your trim bands as your guide wraps get narrower? Re: What do you think of this way of doing?

Unless they are maybe two or three turns Then I just remember how many turns You can wright down how many turns of thread is used for a trim Either way that is easy for you Bill - willierods.com Re: What do you think of this way of doing?

Thanks for the video. A good instructional video is more difficult to make than people think. A good one requires lots of editing and "do overs": choosing good contrasting thread colors (and blank color); lighting; camera angle; fingers in the way; backing off mistakes; (audio dubs if wanted). You did a good job on this. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
