What happened to all the cheap import blanks?
Posted by: Travis Thompson (---.hsd1.il.comcast.net)

I been gone for a long time and I used to be able to buy cheap import blanks like Tiger eye from Neils and Forecast blanks From Schneiders rod shop. I want to order some simple cheap blanks for my boys to build and can't find any. Anyone have a source for some very inexpensive IM6 type blanks. I'd prefer to order from a sponser here on the left

very welcome Lynn, the gang down at Get Bit is first rate. I just picked up a bunch of those closeout blanks that I will be building to donate to my local High School Bass Team. After I have built the first prototypes for them, I honestly like them enough that I don't want to give them away. LOL. I think the team will be VERY HAPPY with them and am anxious to hear what they think of them.

So do you recommend the CRB blanks over the castaways that are on sale through Get bit? I wish I could order both to see which I liked Better but the shipping is a killer

Thank you for the kind words, you guys rock! The P653 and 652 that Thomas Kaufmann recommended would be the best bet in the Castaway line up. They are available in the IP as well which is intermediate modulus rather than standard. Most models are getting thin but we do have some models with enough inventory I would be willing to offer bulk deals for those interested. Don't hesitate to call any time 407-542-7840

Thanks Again!

Maybe the same thing that happened to all the cheap imported cars, T.V.'s, computers, heavy machinery, telephones, etc.?
