I have not built one yet but they sound interesting. I may pick one up at the upcoming expo. I am also curious to hear peoples reviews of these blanks.

John Have not heard any reviews, waiting for Lou Carusso in Montauk to finish and test the one He is building. I also am planning on getting one, received this from Rod Geeks

Thanks for the interest in RODgeeks. Our new combination blank has gotten great feedback so far; the combo includes both a medium power, moderate action tip section and a medium heavy, moderate fast action tip.

Each tip section fits extremely snug with the butt section and it will create two completely different rods. We designed this blank combination after receiving feedback from one of our customers; this combo allows surf anglers to fish a wide range of techniques with out having to bring out two different rods.
