I currently have a Shimano Trevala Jigging Rod(Spinning), TVS-66MH, TC4 Construction. 6'6", 50-100lb Braid, M-H Power, M-Fast Action, Rated for Jigs 110-240 G. I use it to jig for stripers(15-25lbs) in New England. I would like to build a rod just like it, but I cannot find a suitable blank to match the Trevala. Can anyone recommend a blank? Check out seeker Hercules blanks GTS70l. Rainshadow knife jigging blanks are sweet as well. MH Re: Jigging rod blank?

Just checked out the St. Croix 3SW66MHF. The numbers look good compared to the Trevala. Re: Jigging rod blank?
