I'm fairly new to all this, although I have re-wrapped guides on my own rods since the 1950's. With thread art, are there any books or publications with specific instructions on how do do various wraps> Besides Clemens?

Hello Ron.

Yes there are, Flex Coat made some and Billy Vivona.
There are more videos than books such as Doc Ski and Artie Hebert.
But there is also information on Weaving like Jim Lupton, and Doc Ski has video on weaving.

All of these can be bought from MudHole and other rod building suppliers.

Tight Wraps & Tighter Lines.

Bob,

New Bern, NC.

"Thread Weaving for the Custom Rod Builder" is available from Mud Hole, Renzetti Inc. and Anglers Work Shop. Sponsors on the left. It will take you through the entire weaving process step by step.
