I have a customer wanting a 7' MH camouflage blank. Looking for something like the X-Camo or Fishoflauge pattern, but I haven't been able to find one in medium heavy, only light to medium powers. I know 7' medium heavy blanks are available in digital camo, but the customer doesn't want the digital pattern. Also looking to avoid the expense of hydrographic dipping. Anyone know if such a blank exists and where to find it? Re: Camo Blank Help

I don't know where else to get one, but I've built a few of those for my friends kids. They like to bottom fish for sea bass, fluke, weakfish. I bought the 7' and cut the tip back about 6-8" and the butt end a couple inches to make a 6' - 6'2" spiral wrapped bottom rod. They work great for the kids. Re: Camo Blank Help

Chris, you should call GetBit (see sponsor lift on left.) Kevin and the guys have the fishoflauge pattern. They have the med and ml blanks listed on the site, but if I remember correctly, they can hydro dip. I know you said you'd rather not have the added expense of the dipping, but I think that the cost is pretty reasonable. That way you could get a high quality blank of your choosing and have it dipped. It wouldn't hurt to call and ask what the price is. They are great to do business with. Re: Camo Blank Help
