I am building myself a light two handed rod. This rod is being built on the Anglers Roost IM6 9' 10" 4wt blank. I will be using their 19" handle kit. I am needing to know what size guides to use and the spacing to place them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I am a beginner rod builder and I am wondering how you determine the guide spacing on a rod? I would imagine it all depends on the length of the rod you choose to build... is there a guide spacing chart that can be acquired? a rule of thumb or some kind
of a mathematical equation to determine the spacing and the amount of guides needed to complete a build? I apologize in advance if my question is trivial and there is something I should know that everyone should know.... I just don't get it :) Re: Guide Sizes and Spacing

Go the online library here and take a look at any of the several guide spacing articles, particularly the one on static stress distribution.
