I know many of you have wrapped with Madeira Thread. Have you used the Polyester or The Rayon? I know you need to use cp with them. What are your thoughts? Thanks Re: Madeira Thread

Ok, thanks Phil. What is it that is bad about rayon on rods? What about the polyester? Re: Madeira Thread

Polyester is good. Mega color selection. Re: Madeira Thread

Rayon is weaker and tends to be fuzzier. Rayon also has less sheen than either nylon or polyester.

This is what people are using:
[www.madeiramart.com] Polyneon comes in a variety of sizes. 40 weight is what most of us use, it's similar in size to "A" size thread. Some of the weavers use the thinner 60 weight. Re: Madeira Thread

Steve,
I had a huge problem with fish eyes to the point that most of the finish was being "repelled" from this thread. Once I stopped using U-40 color lock and use the chromeseal instead I have had no problems. Love the colors of this thread. Buzz Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
