And keep the high gloss??

More UV exposure, perhaps. Otherwise I doubt there has been much use of that particular product for coating guide wraps so the knowledge base on it's properties when used as a guide wrap coating may not be exactly extensive.

I've used another brand of uv cure coating, for fly tying. The only way to remove the sticky coating from that was to wipe with alcohol. To get a shiny finish, it needed to be coated with something else, like varnish or epoxy.

I hope you're able to find an easier or better solution.

Most, if not all, UV cured materials have a thin O2 inhibited layer that never really sets. Wipe it w/ DNA is the easiest answer.. The other way is to cover it w/ something like glycerin, prior to curing., and then wash it off. This from a DDS, tho not familiar w/ "loon knot sense".

I've used a lot of that for fly tying, different brand, but I've found that the sun is an order of magnitude or more more powerful than the UV flashlights. If you want to keep going with the UV cure wraps, take them into the bright sun for a few minutes. If you don't want to proceed further, try the suggestions above for removing. I doubt it will be easy because what you have is already partially cured.
