Thomas,
I got the bark for this particular handle from a fallen tree. I liked it so much that I ordered some from Customflygrips. I should have taken more from the tree, but I wasn't sure how it was going to work out. I collected it while on a family trip and won't be back in the area for quite some time. I've finished up the handle and the butt. I went with tung oil and I'm very happy with the results. Once I complete the build, I'll post up some pictures. Edited 2 time(s). Arnot,
very glad to hear that all came out well. I will take a look at Customflygrips and see what I can come up with. I've got a Batson RX8 864-4 that I would like to build one for. Thanks, Tom Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
