I think Don is right, I'd give the 5896 a try. It's difficult to tell from the photos if color preserver was used. In the second photo some of the guide foot is visible through the thread which leads me to think it's regular thread without color preserver, not NCP.

Hi Steve,

I'm in the middle of the left pond.

On the serious side, our 5896 is a close match in nylon. We do carry 5896 in nylon and Perma Color (NCP).

There is a person in the UK who desires to purchase Makoi thread. If that's your area, perhaps a combined shipment is doable.

I should have been on the road about 5 minutes ago and need to be brief.

I believe I have a box of 1 dozen of the Emerald green in 50 yd. spools. To bad you are not in the USA.. I think shipping would be cost prohibitive.

Makoi thread was used by the individual and a desire has been expressed to continuing using it.
No shipment has been planned.

Next week I will be off to Texas to participate in a long distance casting competition. If you want, drop me an email and if nothing is heard prior to my departure, I will forward your info to him.
