Orlando, FL - The Student Angler Federation (SAF), a division of The Bass Federation (TBF), and Mud Hole Custom Tackle have teamed up to bring a rod building education program to the 1,270 SAF member high school fishing clubs, in 48 state with almost 11,000 high school student members. The Bass Federation (TBF) is a 100% member owned organization that is the oldest and largest organized grassroots fishing, youth and conservation organization there is. The rod building program is set to be both an educational and profitable fundraiser program offered to all SAF member, High School and Junior Clubs.
The rod building educational program designed to introduce and expand students’ knowledge in fishing and to show students the ever increasing career and educational opportunities through fishing and fishing related industries. It also shows students how the basic elements of their education are used by tournament anglers every day out on the water and how you can use fishing and having fun to sharpen those basic skills that will help you later in life no matter what your career choice.
