2 piece switch?

Hi guys, I am considering building an 8wt switch rod into a level wind steelhead rod but have not been able to find any in 2 piece blanks, was there ever such a thing?

We have some on sale in RX-6 and RX-7 Steelhead blanks.
Perhaps one of those will work for you.

a 9 wt. should handle a 40 pound King nicely, if that is what you are after.
