Look at back bouncing blanks. The heavier ones might be able to handle close to that. That's a tall order in some respects. Are we talking about casting 6 ounces?

I will check them Tom Thanks
As fare as I know party boats Maybe slite casts Seems no one makes two piece A lot of one piece going up to 16 Thats is why I was thinking of trimming a two piece If I hang 6 oz on the tip of a blank what kind of bend should I see Then I am thinking of looking at one piece tip sizes for that weight may give me a hint ?? Johnnyspond.com still lists the discontinued Lamiglas NC962H and NZ1022XH on their website, one of these might be what you're looking for. There's something wrong with the way their website lists the specs; the lure weight, blank weight, etc. seem to be listed erroneously, but I think the recommended line weights are listed correctly.
In the past year a couple placed (mudhole, anglers) had them at closeout pricing so you might try calling around if johnnyspond doesn't pan out. Re: 8' two piece for 6 plus oz ???

John
Did some research on those blanks Some are saying they break at the ferrual Plus they are all graphite Think I'll pass No they are tobe Composite ??? Thanks again They are listed Thanks for the info I emailed him to see if he has any Tomorrow I will call Got a question I think it was you who posted that without a ccs system a builder could tie a line to the tip of a blank to get an idea of what lure weight it would be able to handle So if I wanted to trim a blank What kind of bend would I look for that would show me the blank would handle a hung weight on it I know a lot of blanks are made longer and then trimmed to fit a lure weight Thanks Bill - willierods.com Edited 2 time(s).
