What line do you will be using ?
For me your guide size sélection is on the heavy side. KLH 16, KLH8, KLM 5.5 and KT4 running will be better. No need to use KB on this rod KT are strong enough. ________________________________________ @+ Eric [www.emfishing.fr] Re: fuji kr concept guides

Hi Eric
Thanks for the reply. I will be using 6lb braid and a 4 to 6lb fluorocarbon leader about 18 to 24inches long I will try the combination you suggested I just wasn't sure of the reduction train because I was reading up about these guides and came across an article on anglers resource that said that Fuji engineers recommend using KB's in the mid section as the others KT'S are prone to movement because of the pressure placed on the guides in this section. So I just wanted information fro experienced rod builders. So again thank you greatly appreciated Cheers Karl Re: fuji kr concept guides

Hi Karl,
You may want to use the locking wrap (an article is in the library above) on the small guides to keep them in place. I have had small guides pull out in the past, but not since using a locking wrap. Re: fuji kr concept guides

16, 8, 5.5M for sure. I always use a KB. Try this link [anglersresource.net] . It outlines the latest method for building a "perfect" KR Concept rod and it requires only 4 simple steps. Re: fuji kr concept guides
