Guide Spacing .....9foot...Heavy Catfish Rod....

Gentleman.....
Need some input on guide spacing for a 9 foot..heavy catfish rod I am building....fiberglass rod..... I came up with this spacing...from the tip......4 1/2.......9.....141/2......201/2......271/2.......35.......45.......55.......65.... Since... It would be very difficult for any of us to give you meaningful advice based on the information you provided; there are too many variables to consider. I would suggest you review Tom's static testing article in the library section. If you carefully follow the instructions in the article, you will end up with the proper spacing you are looking for.
