Hi everyone
I am seeking slow pitch jigging blanks to work jigs from 100g - 150g. A slow pitch jigging blank has a faster tip than a standard jigging blank (more a moderate action). Several big name makers are now coming out with rods but there are not really any blanks available that I can see. Thanks in advance. Stu Klose Re: Slow pitch jigging blanks

Does the depth of the water at which the jigging takes place have anything to do with rod blank requirements? Re: Slow pitch jigging blanks

Yes. Focussing on depths up to 50 metres deep. Re: Slow pitch jigging blanks

I just built myself a casting rod useing a CTS elite slow jig blamk 7'0 for crank and spinner baits. I have no idea what slow jig fishing is but I think the blank fit the bill for what I'm doing. Your right! it is lite in the tip and has most of its power 2/3 back.. As a spinning rod it would make a good drop shot rod. Dennis J. Danku (Sayreville,NJ) Re: Slow pitch jigging blanks

An update on the blank as a spinnerbait rod was a poor choice on my part. Its just too light in the tip on the cast for my likeing. And thats all I got for you right now! Dennis J. Danku (Sayreville,NJ) Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
