You're sort of asking for someone to "build" the rod for you. Not so much actually assemble it, but do all the layout work. Not sure you'll get too many responses on that sort of thing.

If this is what you want here's what I'd do - find a catalog that features these type rods along with full length (to scale) photos of the rods. If you know the actual length of the rod, you can take the corresponding photograph and measure the length in the photo, giving you a ratio from which you can ascertain the length of the components, and spacing of the guides. This will be a factory type layout which should at least put you in the ballpark. From there you can tune and tweak to your personal taste.

Ted, I'm curious for what type of fish and what size reel? My first builds are 5'8" or so jigging rods for crappie. I was chatting with a rod builder one day and grumbling about how I can't find one with the specific features I want. He encouraged me to just build exactly what I want and that got me started into this addictive hobby.

What are you jigging for, what line weight, what lure weight. Impossible to help you with more information. Asian style doesn't help a bit.

Kil Song has a site( jig-n-pop) where you can pull up some of his jigging rod specs. Will give you a starting point. The rest will be personal preference. Reel will have a big influence on what you are trying to do as it would for any build.

How did you go with this? I can get some measurements if you like?
