Patriot LED lights?

For those who have ordered the Patriot LED lights that were mentioned in a previous post, any one have experience in using the light for wrapping a rod?

I am just curious as to the feelings are on this light and its uses for rod building.

I have used mine and find that it works well, but would like to hear other opinions from those who now may have one.

Be safe

Shawn,
I expect that it will work very well. This will be especially nice if you currently work through a magnifying light.

With the "natural daylight" color temperature, the colors should be seen as their true daylight colors.

This light is nice in the fact that it can be used either as a floor lamp, or as a desk lamp.

Roger, I ordered two because I got them so cheap ( I can use the other one in my office). I unboxed one and set it up on my bench and it looks like it will do the job well. I haven't tried wrapping anything and probably won't for a couple of months. I'm temporarily out of business with my right hand and wrist in a cast. As I am right handed, it's challenging to say the least, but I'm confident better days lie ahead. I haven't checked the previous post for additional activity, but I got those lights for $7 a piece if anyone wants to know. Great deal!
