KR Concept- Double footed guides

Is it just me or there are others among us who are feeling the need for some new guides KR -friendly? Here in, Europe , it is a trend for short powerful rods to be used for jigging applications in catfish (silurus glanis) fishing. Since big spinning reels (size 8000-10000) tend to give the choke point around the tip of a 6-7 feet rod , in my opinion KR Concept system it is the way to go but, there are no double footed guides ready made for this and one has to bend some existing KW guides to create them. I've written an e-mail to Fuji about this and, since i do not have even a courtesy answer from them i'm becoming to believe that this will be a small market and they are not interested . So, i ask you guys are there, among you, others who feel the need for such double footed guides to be used In KR Concept system? Because, in my opinion, there is a need and it seems like American Tackle has prepared a solution with the new microwave system .
In the picture below it is a rod I've build showing a KR system vs a Cone .

Carol: You are not the first to dream of a double-footed KR Concept guide. Many surf fishermen here in the US have been waiting patiently since the concept was introduced about 2 years ago. Admittedly, it is a small market, but Fuji usually expands their premier products each year until the selection is complete. We have requested this product many times over the past 24 months but have no word of an official release date. I am sorry Fuji's distributor in Europe did not respond to your inquiry. If you have any other questions regarding Fuji products, please post them here.

I was hoping you, or somebody else, would say that Jim, because that means that there is a chance to see some of those guides in the near future. In fact, the surf range of guides (LC' s) are almost there since the lack of a bigger size stripper (at least 30J) is the main problem in the current lineup . Knowing that they are expanding each year their range of products drove me in to writing them that e-mail (at [email protected]) since I've thought that if they see the need they will provide the "cure" . Anyway, it seems like they will need more requests for such guides in order to produce them .Thats the reason for this topic existence since i've thought that, if more people will have the same need , in different fishing styles , than they will be seen as a big enough market so for the producers will worth making the effort of producing them.
