Hi guys,
I have a customer asking for a handle built from tuna cord. I have no problem wrapping it that way but after it is wrapped do I epoxy it the same as a guide wrap? My thought is I leave it and have a turks head at the top? I told him I have not done one myself before and was asking for advice before agreeing to do something I can't! Thanks guys for any answers. The cord wrapped handles I have done have been top coated with U40 Permagloss. About 2 wet coats. This doesn't "smooth" over the top, just toughens and adheres it, but leaves the tactile feel of the cord intact.
