Chris,
If you don't have a caliper, - get one. If you don't have a scale - get one. Then, you will be able to weigh and measure everything yourself. [www.harborfreight.com] [www.harborfreight.com] [www.mudhole.com] Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/25/2014 03:16PM by roger wilson. Re: Identifying a Rod

Roger is write.
Most likely the only way you are going to get those measurements: is to do so yourself Re: Identifying a Rod

Hi Guys
I get it. Now I am going to have to learn what a 4.5 tip top means. Thanks Re: Identifying a Rod

the tip top tube is measured in 64ths of an inch (don't ask why), so a 4.5 is 4 & 1/2 64ths or .0703125" or 1.78605mm
Next you can get started on guide sizing! LOL Re: Identifying a Rod

Chris,
Tip size is indicated, (or measured), in 64th of an inch, so a 4.5 is 4 1/2 64th of an inch....if that make sense or is that cents?!! Don Don Campbell don@sensorfishingrods.com Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/26/2014 09:35AM by Donald R Campbell. Re: Identifying a Rod

There is an inexpensive gauge available to measure for the tube size. Freddwhy (Rapt-Ryte) Re: Identifying a Rod

I have a cheap plastic caliper. It's time I buy a good digital one.
