Feather inlays Cp substitute

I gave away my last bit of color preserver to a friend so he could finish his first rodbuild. My supplier is like an hour across town, is there an alternative to CP for in laying feathers?

But I have thinned Elmers Wood glue with water - Yes it works

Try future floor wax liquid...it's an acrylic sealer
