OK so I've searched the forum to no avail.
I've built mostly fly rods for years. taking a stab at a spinning rod. 7'3" 8-15 line med light fast action blank. using micros I was directed to use the 27x method. can someone show me a tutorial on this that I'm missing? Thanks Re: 27X dumb question

Gary,
Check out the New Guide Concept - Spinning Rods article in the Library on this site. It will tell you what you want to know. There is one thing that many who use micro running guides, including myself, like to do. That is to replace the choke guide with a 5mm fly guide rather than making it the first of your small running guides. This is not a true NGC 27x layout, as the choke guide isn't the same size as your runners, but it's a minor twist. You should look hard at the Microwave system. It certainly does impress, and is nearly fool proof to setup as well. Joe Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
