Has anyone tried the new Lamiglas Infinity blanks with the 3M Powerlux resin? I've not seen any discussion around these new blanks, and would appreciate hearing your insights. For example, Lamiglas rates these blanks as "Fast" action. Most of us know that "fast" in the old Lamiglas XMG50 line up was on the slow end of the fast range (except for the popping blanks). How would you describe the "fast" rating on these new blanks? Re: Lamiglas Infinity Blanks

I've used some of the steelhead blanks, a bit heavier in weight than I thought they would be, action was as described. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/08/2014 09:30AM by Spencer Phipps. Re: Lamiglas Infinity Blanks

Thanks or the insight. I'm ordering a few to get a feel for their mag bass and technique suitability. I've got a customer that's just excited about them. I've built him ledge jig/worm rods on XMG50, HM HMX, and Hydra NG, and he loves those.....but is relentless on trying the Infinity. Re: Lamiglas Infinity Blanks

It's Very quiet about these blanks, I fell in love with the xmg50's so I was really excited when these were announced, then i saw the blank weights. Not 1 blank under 2 oz. in the lineup. I'll pass on these for now. Better options for the $ IMHO. The XP bass blanks are lighter at around 60% of the $$ so I will eventually try one of those out first.
Be sure to let us know how the are if you build on one. Re: Lamiglas Infinity Blanks

I have fished with the 9'4" and 9'8" steelhead models and really liked both of them. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
