Hi All
Just want to say a big thankyou to those that commented on this forum to all my questions. In particular to Herb for all his advice, via email, helping me with issues around reel seats, arbors and grip.
Tomorrow I apply the finish and let dry. Rod is a 9 ft 9wt MHX 4 pc. Using Flexcoat lite build. Any final words of wisdom/warnings before I get started?
Hope all have a good Christmas and New Year!

Regards
Dave

best thing I can suggest is Put the thread on a piece of scrap blank Finish it regular thread no CP will get darker and become Transparent Different threads act differently
Do a test to see if you like how it comes out
Did not mean to scare you but I have no idea on the thread you are using Regular or NCP It does make a difference
