I'm a retired retailer from the states relocated to Terrace BC for full time salmon and steelhead fishing. I've been using the wonderful information on this site for over a year and recently made the plunge into rod building when not on the river. During my equipment selection I spent many hours reviewing the suggestions and examples given by this group of rodbuilders. I am putting the finish on my first rod this week. I guess that you know that you will now have to go back to work, in order to support the rod building habit...

It does appear to be an expensive habit, but I'm going to avoid work. Maybe my wife can find a well paying second career?

I am sure she will LOVE that !!!
