Hello to all. I have been gone from rod building for a while due to some sight problems which were significant and caused me to stop building for a while. The worst part was I basicly withdrew from all aspects for a while. I had Cateracs removed from both eyes and new lenses implanted and the outcome was incredible/ 20/20 in both eyes and I can see colors again with great clarity. I look forward to being able to contribute again and be part of the forum. Re: Got my new eyes

Everyone I have ever spoken to after that surgery remarked at how vivid colors seemed to be. I guess it's something you lose so gradually you don't notice it's going on.

Tom, Can't even put into words how astounding the gift is. the procedure is only about 10 min. long and bam new eyes. The ultimate gift is being given back the ability to see and enjoy rod building again. I guess it falls into that catagory of not knowing what you had until you lose it. Re: Got my new eyes

Thats why you should think about filling the donor portion on the back of your licence. It is a gift you can give as 1 last statement of who you are. Congratulations on your new vision. Would love to see your first build. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
