Dupli-Color

Hi All,

I want to paint a blank with Chrome Dupli-Color and then use the shadow spray over it to give it a black chrome effect.

Is the Dupli-Color Clear Coat strong enough to use for the finish? I mean this stuff is made form tire rims but not sure if it is flexible at all?

As always I am extrelmely grateful to everyone who takes the time to respond!

PS I know it's going to add weight. The rod is for me and I am not concerned about that. I am also going to attempt a lighting marble effect on the split grip. If you know of any good videos/dvd tutorials for marbling I am all ears!
