I need to replace a set of ferrules on an old cane rod. Where do I measure in order to get the closest possible fit. This set of ferrules are for the mid and tip sections. This is a wall hanger. J.B.Hunt Bowling Green, KY Re: Bamboo rod ferrules

J.B. if it's just a wall hanger you shouldn't have to be too accurate. if the ferrules are bottle necked, in other words, the part that is on the cane is larger than the opening of the female ferrule then measure the largest diameter of the cane. if they are straight then measure the opening of the female. for a wal hanger you can get away with some of the Chrome plated ones from several of the sponsors. or put up a wanted in the buy/sell and see if anyone has what you need. message me if you have issues with the rod. I may even have some ferrules kicking around Re: Bamboo rod ferrules

I had a rod come in today that needs a new ferrule, it is a bottle neck type, 8.3mm on the rod & 7.1mm around male end of the same ferrule any idea where I can find one? Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/14/2013 07:10PM by Chris E Linville. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
