Deer Hunting Themed Fishing Rod

I have been looking at ideas on this site for a deer hunting themed rod for my girlfriend and I have gotten a few ideas. I was going to use a 12ga shell as the butt cap and hunter green for the guide wrap. I was thinking of using some deer antler on the handle. I saw mentioned in the past a site called "Inserts by Les", this was a place to buy deer antler parts for fishing rods. I Googled it and came up empty. Does anyone know if this site still exists or where I can get deer antler for a fishing rod? If anyone has any additional ideas for the rod I am open to suggestions. Thanks for any and all help!

Tom

P.S. I want the rod to be fishable, not just a decoration.

Here's one I did with a shell in the butt. I've done others, I need to post.

Forrest: Do you think it is possible to use antler on a fishing rod and have it be comfortable to fish with? I was thinking of using a MHX SJ842-2 Spin Jig Rod Blank (7' 2pc Med-Lt) as my blank. It would be used primarily for walleye fishing.

I have built many handles with antler incorporated into them.

I primarily use moose because it has more bone and less pith.

They can be very comfortable and light weight if bored and cored.

Thanks again everyone for your help. The rods pictured are very impressive. I hope mine looks half as nice. What kind of preparation to the antler do you need to do before you can mount it on a rod and fish with it?
