Mudhole has these reel seats in white. They come unassembled so it would be easy to repaint yellow if you can't find one elsewhere.

I recently made a reel seat with a sunburst finish ( yellow to brown), usung Rit dye and finished it with CA. Any water based or alcohol based yellow dye should give you your color. If you are not set up to turn reel seats, you could probably sand the finish off a natural color seat and refinish. Re: Rod Churchward

Put the seat on a piece of scrap blank Put in a drill Support the other end sand it down as it turns give yourself room for paint and clear Bill - willierods.com Re: Rod Churchward

Hey Rod,
Mate contact Mamoru at Matagi and ask him if you can get a seat in just yellow. I have done this before when I wanted a fire engine red seat. He paints them all to order so I can't see there would be a problem. If he does the black and yellow crackle, the base is yellow, just get him to leave off the black crackle. Ask him for "Banana Bender Yellow". You can get him at - Mamoru questions@matagi.co.jp Regards Mark Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
