Well, they say there is no such thing as a dumb question, so here I go. Be kind folks I'm a newbie.
Seems like I have a whole new vocabulary that I need to learn. Could someone please tell me what is a choke guide? I just read the New Concept guide spacing and I'm confused. I know that the butt guide is the guide closest to the reel and I understand what the running guides are but, if the choker is the guide next up from the butt then I will have a visually handicapped rod. smh!!!

Yeah, Tom your absolutely right, after I posted that question, I decided to go back to your book and looked under the section on guide placement and walaa... there it was. Thanks for the response, from now on the book will be my first point of reference. :-)
