I have a customer who wants green aluminum winding checks on his new rod. I have been looking for a source but not found one, most suppliers have blue, red, silver, and gold but no green.
Any help in finding aluminum checks in green would be greatly appreciated. Tom Bel Air, Maryand Re: Winding checks

Hi Tom,mudhole has them, part of their CRB handle parts,Only one size 16mm so you may have to use the 16mm tube on same page. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/16/2013 05:12PM by David Lynch. Re: Winding checks

Might not be that difficult to paint one that is a perfect shape and fit. Under rod winding finish it will be very durable. Re: Winding checks

Another option is to turn one out of acrylic stock. Re: Winding checks

I like the idea of the acrylic and can make to the exact size as well, thanks for that idea Dick. In my spare time I make pens and have all the equipment to make this winding check.
