PG vs LS

For those that have used both, what would you are the differences between Permagloss and Lumaseal? Does one dry harder than the other. Working time differences? Re: PG vs LS

IMO PG sets a little faster, LS a little slower. PG dries a little harder, LS a little softer, but not soft. PG is a little thinner, LS is a little thicker. Other than that they are sort of similar. Re: PG vs LS

Not sure what you mean. Maybe I should have worded it differently. They are both urethanes but are definitely different products. Sort of like all the different epoxies. They're all epoxies but each has its own quirks and ways unique to itself. Re: PG vs LS

I found the ls to be just as hot as pg or at least they both stripped the paint off the blank with the greatest of ease. I tried two blanks sprayed with krylon plastic and clear krylon and they both took the paint right off blank. They are both rather awesome for unfinished rod blanks! No noticable difference there. Some high end blanks the finish will come off even with alcohol I have put PG over DupliColor Auto paint Letting the paint dry at least 5 days Longer warmer the better Still got to be quick That is why I like this [www.klasskote.com] Bill - willierods.com Edited 2 time(s).
